Legacy of Explorations (Est. 1997)

The Department of Ancient History and Archaeology has been conducting independent explorations in the fields of pre-history, proto-history, epigraphy, art, architecture, and rock art in coastal Karnataka and other neighboring districts. Our history museum was established in 1997 with rare artifacts unearthed directly during these student-involved field explorations, providing practical research opportunities.
